Getting Paid

How does payment protection work?

Payment is held securely by our licensed payment processor the moment the brand pays. It releases to you only when the work is approved. If the buyer ghosts, it auto-releases after 7 days.

Payment protection is the reason you never have to chase payments again. Here's exactly how it works:

Step by step

  1. Brand pays at checkout — The money leaves their card/bank immediately.
  2. Payment is held securely — The funds are held by our licensed payment processor (Stripe). Not in the brand's account, not in yours — held in a neutral holding zone on Inflink's instruction.
  3. You do the work — Create content, ship merch, hold the consultation. Whatever the order requires.
  4. Work gets approved — The brand approves your delivery (or the 7-day auto-release kicks in).
  5. Payment moves to your balance — Released to your Inflink pending balance. After 7 more days, it becomes available for withdrawal.

What payment protection covers you against

  • "I'll pay you after you post" — No. They already paid. The payment is secured. It's just held until the work is done.
  • "I changed my mind" — Once you've accepted the order and started working, the brand can't unilaterally cancel and get their money back. If there's a dispute, admin reviews it.
  • Ghosting — If the brand stops responding at any point in the process, the order auto-advances after 7 days and payment releases to you.

What it covers brands against

It goes both ways. If you accept an order and never deliver, the brand can raise a dispute and get refunded. Payment protection keeps both sides honest.

Our payment processor is Stripe — the same infrastructure used by Shopify, Amazon, and Uber. Your payment is safe.
