Getting Paid

Why does my balance show a different number?

It doesn't. You price a Reel at AED 1,500, you see AED 1,500 in your balance. The service charge is deducted only when you withdraw.

Short answer: what you price is what you see. If you set a Reel at AED 1,500, your balance shows AED 1,500 when the order completes.

How the service charge works

There is a single service charge, and it is only applied at withdrawal time:

  • Free plan — a small percentage-based service charge, plus a flat AED 2 per order. Deducted when you withdraw, never from your balance.
  • Pro plan — a significantly lower percentage-based service charge, plus the same flat AED 2 per order. Worth it if you're earning a few thousand AED a month.

The brand pays exactly your listed price — no buyer fees, no VAT line items. We cover Stripe's processing cost from the service charge on our side.

The breakdown view

When you go to withdraw, you'll see a clear breakdown:

  • Withdrawal amount: AED 1,500
  • Service charge: shown as an explicit deduction
  • You receive: the net amount

No surprises. No hidden deductions along the way. The charge is only applied once, at withdrawal.

Why we did it this way

Creators told us they hated seeing a smaller number in their balance than what they charged. So we changed it. Your balance always reflects what you priced. The service charge is transparent and only hits when you cash out.
