Counting filming, editing, three revision rounds, the chase for payment, and the emotional weight of the whole thing, she calculates the deal cost her about 17 hours. AED 600 across 17 hours is AED 35 an hour. Her current effective rate is closer to AED 280 an hour, and the difference is mostly process, not price.
