It is a Tuesday morning in JBR and Layla is filming a 45-second mobility flow on her balcony before her 7am client. She has 14,300 Instagram followers, a fixed-price storefront, and a coffee that has gone cold twice. By the end of March she will close the month at AED 18,400 in earnings, her best month so far.
Here is what that month actually looked like, broken down line by line.
The headline numbers
- 12 paid orders across the month
- Average order value: AED 1,533
- Three service categories: Reels, venue visits, 1:1 coaching
- Refunds: 0
- Disputes: 0
Where the money came from
Reels were the volume engine. Six paid Reels at AED 950 each came in from gym brands, supplement labels, and one Sharjah-based athleisure boutique. Two of those orders bundled a Story set for an extra AED 350, which she now offers as a default add-on.
Venue visits were the margin engine. Three boutique studios in Marina and Khalifa City paid her AED 1,800 each to come in, train, and post one Reel plus three Stories from the floor. Total time on site averaged 90 minutes per visit.
The 1:1 coaching slots surprised her. Three followers booked AED 750 mobility consultations after she added the service mid-month. She blocked Wednesday afternoons for them and was fully booked within ten days.
I stopped guessing what to charge. The price is on the page. People either book or they do not, and I get my evenings back.

What did not work
She tested a AED 2,400 four-week training program as a digital product and got zero buyers. The page got 47 visits and no conversions. Her takeaway was that her audience came to her for short, specific guidance, not multi-week commitments. She removed the service the following week.
Costs that came out of the AED 18,400
- Editor for two of the six Reels: AED 600 total
- Studio rental for one shoot: AED 350
- Platform processing fees on payouts: roughly 2.9 percent across the month
- Petrol and parking for venue visits: AED 280
Net after costs landed at roughly AED 16,800. Not life-changing money on its own, but stable, predictable, and earned without a single negotiation thread.
